Seem to be a lot of people with solid backgrounds. A major plus is that it seems to genuinely be based on the disturbingly timely novel rather than "inspired by" it.Pantomime Horsenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2184123882936370131.post-83971339636984341372010-02-26T14:33:06.983-08:002010-02-26T14:33:06.983-08:00I'm very excited that it's really getting ...I'm very excited that it's really getting close to coming out. That's why we like PKD, not for the movies based on his stories, but the stories themselves.ct-scanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09415165623335167516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2184123882936370131.post-72349648850236949522010-02-26T07:45:14.511-08:002010-02-26T07:45:14.511-08:00Right on, Ragle! But let's keep in mind that John Simon made this film on a very tight budget, in part, so that he could maintain creative control over the film's content, rather than allowing the sharks in Hollywood to give us another Next, or Paycheck, or other PKD adaptation bereft of everything Dickian except his name in the credits. I, for one, think we should, as fans, be supportive of cinematic adaptations undertaken by longtime PKD fans, who are dedicated to doing Dick's vision justice on the big screen.Ragle Gummhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13951340313214410331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2184123882936370131.post-74013725516323731672010-02-24T19:52:32.385-08:002010-02-24T19:52:32.385-08:00I'm holding out for the "Counter Clock Wo...I'm holding out for the "Counter Clock World"...
