Wow, I have a copy of this Nova and never realized the similarity with PKD's TimeJoint.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth Delaney and Herbert are firmly entrenched as my personal favorites 2 and 3 behind Dick. Dhalgren is about as good as anything PKD ever published.
I remember I had both the Dune book and 3 STIGMATA at one time and noted the covers. In reply to Platyjoe: I was a big fan of Delaney and read everything I could find from him (even some of his lousy porn)and I recall reading Dhalgren that I thought it was the greatest thing since slice bread while I was reading it but when I was done I thought it was the biggest pile of garbage I'd ever read!
