I just got an email from Tommy Pallotta, the producer of A Scanner Darkly, and he confirmed for me that Terry Gilliam is not writing the script for "The Owl in Daylight" and Pallotta is not producing it.
Bummer. No word on who may be writing the screenplay. Stay Tuned.

he wrote fear in loathing in las vegas and brotherhood of the head
I loved A Scanner Darkly film, it was exactly what I imagined when I read the book.
I am not at all pleased that some actress is going to portray me in a movie, especially since nobody involved in the project has ever bothered to get any input from me.
