Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

Just a quick update. I'm home from the PKD Fest - what a blast! Hard at work on a story about the event for io9.com. Also recovering from some minor hernia surgery performed a few days ago. I already knew about the hernia, by the way, when I listened to 'Strawberry Fields Forever' so no synchronicities there. Pics and story to follow soon.

I'm reading The Simulacrum during my recuperation and really getting into it!

I haven't read THE SIMULACRUM in 30 years, but I remember it being one of my favorites by PKD at the time. Another one I always thought terrific was NOW WAIT FOR LAST YEAR.

I guess it's time I re-read both of 'em.

Have a quick recovery from your surgery.

Never read The Simulacrum (but just googled it, is the correct title The Simulacra?), but I did read Now Wait for Last Year this past year. It happened to be one my school library had so I picked it up and absolutely loved it. Great read.

Al F. You are correct. Simulacra - this is what vicodin does to my copy editing skills...

I don't have an excuse...I'm not on Vicodin!
